Adults aged 18 and older who are returning from incarceration and seeking supportive transitional housing in Brockton, MA. We prioritize individuals who are open to trauma-informed care and community-based support.
Residents may stay between 3 to 12 months, depending on their individual reentry goals and progress. Extensions are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Life skills coaching (budgeting, cooking, digital literacy)
Transportation for appointments and errands
Individual counseling and case management
Peer support groups and community activities
Access to culturally responsive staff with multilingual support (English, Spanish, Haitian Creole)
Light meals and groceries are available. Residents receive homemaking and cooking assistance and support with meal planning and preparation.
Residents are expected to respect the home, staff, and fellow residents. Rules include:
No violence, threats, or substance use on-site
Adherence to curfews and check-in requirements
Participation in wellness and goal-setting meetings
Guests allowed only with staff approval
A full Resident Agreement is reviewed and signed during intake.
No. Optimal Bridges is a voluntary, community-based transitional housing program. It is not a locked facility, detention center, or clinical rehab program.
Referrals can be made by probation/parole officers, social workers, hospitals, community agencies, or family members. Referrals require completing our Referral Form or contacting us directly.
Yes. We actively support residents in finding employment, enrolling in training programs, or continuing their education during their stay.
Funding may be available through public agencies, reentry grants, or nonprofit partners. Sliding scale or supported housing options are offered based on individual circumstances.
